About Us...

At Coop's Bait & Tackle, we're more than just a fishing and hunting store - we're committed to giving back to our community and the environment. Our team is passionate about helping people of all ages and experience levels get started in outdoor recreation as we offer fly tying classes and other educational opportunities throughout the year. We also partner with local organizations to fundraise for the protection of natural resources and wildlife in the Sea to Sky region.

Our business is built on three core pillars - fishing, hunting, and conservation. We believe in promoting sustainable outdoor recreation through responsible fishing and hunting practices, and we're dedicated to protecting the natural resources that make our outdoor pursuits possible. Whether you're an experienced angler or hunter, or just getting started, we're here to help you make the most of your time in the great outdoors.

Fishing

Coop's Bait & Tackle is dedicated to promoting responsible and sustainable fishing practices. We offer a wide selection of high-quality fishing gear, including rods, reels, lures, and bait, as well as expert advice to help anglers of all experience levels catch more fish. We plan to offer fly tying classes and other educational opportunities in the future to help anglers learn new skills and techniques.

Hunting

Hunting is a deeply rooted tradition in Canada, and Coop's Bait & Tackle is proud to support responsible and ethical hunting practices. We plan to offer a variety of hunting gear, including firearms, ammunition, and accessories, as well as expert advice to help hunters of all experience levels prepare for their next hunting trip. Currently we are only offering special orders for hunting equipment, firearms, and ammunition as we're unable to stock them in store due to inventory space. We also partner with local organizations to promote conservation efforts and protect the natural resources that make hunting possible.

Conservation

At Coop's Bait & Tackle, we're committed to protecting the natural resources and wildlife that make our outdoor pursuits possible. We partner with local organizations to fundraise for conservation efforts and support initiatives that promote responsible outdoor recreation. We also encourage our customers to practice sustainable fishing and hunting practices, and to respect the environment and wildlife when enjoying the outdoors.
